So summer's here. Actually it's been here for awhile now, but I'm way too lazy to update my journal. Currently I need a job. I want money to save up for a beautiful new SLR/digital camera. And I also need money for Wemf. For those of you who live in Ontario, Wemf stands for World Electronic Music Festival and is going on July 20-22. I do promo work for Destiny, a rave company that promotes Wemf. So I've been making a few bucks now and then handing out flyers. I also get to go to Wemf for free.

But still, looking for a job. I'm starting to actually get paid for my photography which is awesome! It's something I'd never dream of happening, but seriously, people want me to take their picture now. I love it. My grandpa, who was an inspiration and the reason I take pictures, passed away a year ago. He was a famous photographer in Winnipeg where he lived. Recently I've been going through some of his work that my mom brought back to Toronto after the funeral, and I want to strive to take pictures like he did. He had an amazing eye for things, and a real lust for life and all things beautiful. I think this is the summer where I'm begining to grow in my art and learn a lot more about myself.

I'll try to update this as much as possible, but when the weather's this nice, who wants to stay in?
